Halloween Horror Nights 2020 at Universal Studios Singapore this year has been cancelled

The theme park and its other attractions will still remain open.

Halloween Horror Nights 2020 has been cancelled.

The tenth edition of the annual event, which usually takes place at Universal Studios Singapore (USS) around October, has been shut down due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

In an update on its social media platform, USS said: "Universal Studios Singapore's Halloween Horror Nights 2020 will not be taking place. However, we will still be bringing you thrills as we continue to focus on our other experiences in the park."

Since its inception in 2011, the spooky scarefest has become an event that youths look forward to every year.

Last year's Halloween Horror Nights 2019 saw the likes of thai horror flick Curse Of The Naga, haunted houses Twisted Clown University and The Chalet Hauntings. It also featured entertaining shows and games such as Death Fest Live and the halloween carnival.

While Halloween Horror Nights 2020 will be cancelled, USS and its attractions will remain open for visitors.
