The 'Dear Covid-19' memory project encourages Singaporeans to write letters about their experiences living during a pandemic.
From those eager for the circuit breaker's imminent end to others enjoying the change of pace to their daily lives, countless stories have emerged from Singaporeans during this stay-home period.
Dear Covid-19, a memory project by the National Youth Council and integrated marketing agency DSTNCT, has compiled these shared stories into one space.
The project aims to shed some light on Singaporeans' everyday life after COVID-19 sent us into isolation, impacting our way of living. They do so by collecting letters from various youths that are personally addressed to the unpleasant coronavirus. Even the images featured on the Life in Stills page were taken virtually.
In just two weeks, 100 Singaporeans have participated in virtual shoots for Dear Covid-19.
Dear Covid-19 covers a wide range of intriguing, heartwarming and inspirational stories that will keep you reading for hours. All stories were shared by the participants earnestly, with the hope that people will view them with empathy.
Read stories shared by popular social media personalities from the likes of Singaporean actor Andie Chen, Aiken Chia from Night Owl Cinematics as well as self-employed actress and host Priscilla Lim Xixi.

Some of the interesting stories we've come across include a couple's marriage that turned grand plans and big celebrations into an unofficial online ceremony from home.
We were also moved by the story of a young man who finally started picking himself up after losing his mother in August 2019, only to be diagnosed with COVID-19 himself.
